Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Mustards
- 3-4 Bay leaf
- 4 Clove
- 2 Cinnamon
- 3 Onions
- 1 cup Pudhina leaves
- 1 cup Green peas
- 1 cup Carrot
- 1 cup Beans
- 2 tsp Garam masala
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked rice
- Masala ( 5 green Chillies, 2 laung & cinnamon, 2 onions, 5 flakes garlic & 4 medium pieces of ginger & 1 cup coriander leaves)
Method to prepare
- Clean, wash & soak rice in a bowl. Keep it aside.
- Take a Kadhai heat oil add mustards, bay leaf, clove, cinnamon & pudhina fry for 5 mins.
- Boil all the vegetables (green peas, carrot & beans) add into kadhai & fry for 2 mins.
- Then add masala ( green chillies, laung, cinnamon, onions, ginger-garlic & coriander leaves) grind all these into a fine paste fry for another 10-15 mins on a low flame.
- Add salt to taste, 5 glasses of water, garam masala & rice boil until the rice gets cooked or until the water drains & the rice becomes soft.
- Serve hot.
